When it comes to Black Friday, Amazon doesn’t play by the rules — and it doesn’t have to. As an online retailer, it’s not confined to the constraints of the shopping holiday.
That being said, Black Friday has officially kicked off at Amazon, starting Nov. 22 and lasting through Nov. 29. The deals won’t be the same every day, so check out this handy guide from our friends at BlackFriday.com to see when you’ll get the best deal on the device you want.
What we’re most excited for each drop day:
Amazon has bundled the Ring Video Doorbell 2 with the Echo Show 5 and slashed the price in half. You pay $139 for both as opposed to paying $288.99 for them separately. These two devices work together beautifully — view your doorbell’s camera on the Echo Show 5’s screen and use the speakers to communicate with whoever is at your door.
Amazon’s Fire TV Cube is like a smart home hub that also controls your TV and turns it into a smart TV. Watch your favorite streaming channels or ask Alexa to dim the lights. There’s a lot you can do with this little cube. Starting Nov. 24, the Fire TV Cube will be discounted $30, dropping the price to $89.99.
Blink smart security cameras work both indoors and out, protecting your home from every angle. They feature two-way audio and customizable motion detection. Naturally, they are compatible with Amazon’s Alexa. Starting Nov. 27, a three-camera kit will be $65 off, giving you a price of $184.99.
Amazon’s newest Echo Dot has an LED clock face that also displays temperature and timers. This device was only released a few months ago, and its Black Friday price is lower than we expected. The Echo Dot with clock will be $25 off starting Nov. 28, bringing the price down to $34.99.
This is just a small taste of what Amazon has in store for its Black Friday sale. Remember to check out BlackFriday.com’s guide and plan out your shopping to ensure you score the best deal on everything you want.
